Happy Tuesday Folks, Another week, another Multiverse. Riknas was under the weather this week, so it was just Ferrel and I, with Ferrel at the helm. I’ve gotta say, I kind of like being a co-host. And a harvest queen– you’ll just have to listen to get that one. Ferrel was in rare form, too. I’m pretty sure [...] Happy Monday Everyone! To start the week off right, we’re here to bring you the one-week-delayed Episode 16 of the Multiverse. Things didn’t go off a smoothly as planned but the results are a funnier show. Go figure. This week, our main topic is what it takes for an MMO to get, and keep, our attention. Plus, any [...] Oi, I’d be a little concerned if I was a Fallen Earth fan. Coming down the gauntlet today (via ITG, via the Escapist), we hear that Icarus Studios laid off a big chunk of its workforce. Actually, the initial report claimed that they had “closed their doors” but that may not be exactly true. Shortly after [...] Over the last couple of days, I’ve been spending a lot of time in games other than World of Warcraft. WoW is a trap, you see. The number crunching, min/max, grab that loot game play has a way of wrapping its arms around you and not letting go. So, yesterday’s respite into Fallen Earth [...] When I logged into my email yesterday, I was surprised to find a press release from Icarus Studios waiting for me. Aside from feeling uncharacteristically like press, the details the release talked about surprised me. Here, I’ll let them tell you what’s going on: Fallen Earth, LLC today announced [...] It’s been a few days since my last post, so I thought I’d stop in and give you a quick update.
