The Multiverse Podcast – Episode #1

Here we go, our first effort at a podcast. I think it came out pretty well but I learned a few important lessons in the trying.

  • I shouldn’t talk so much

  • Don’t interrupt Ferrel so much

  • Editing out tangents takes a long time

Hehe. Anyways, I hope you enjoy it. We hung out and talked for a while after the show even, so we definitely had a good time making it. Our next recording date is December 4th and I can honestly say I’m looking forward to it.

Check out out Vagary page, linked below. Send any questions, comments, things you’d like us to talk about, or guest suggestions to Chris@gamebynight.com. We’d also love a review on iTunes, if you’re so inclined.

Enjoy!

  • Thanks for the support, hopefully you like it when you can get at it. I tried the download at our vagary page and it let’s me do the save as from there. To get there from here, just click the direct download link and there’s an option to save from there.

Or, you can Save from here.

  • Haha, just the response I expect from my question. I personally think its cool, I love all the fun in WoW, but at the same time I am also one of those people that the more tears and blood lost during a hard raid encounter, the more fun I have!

I think Blizzard need to start catering for both the hardcore and the casual a bit better. I know there are hard modes but, really? It just doesn’t feel as unique as being able to kill a seperate boss, rather then another face of it.

Also, WoW will always be my home because its just so vast, and you can do pretty much anything, and I love freedom ion any game. Nothing seems to come close, I’ve palyed a massive range of MMOs and wow just does it for me.

Granted, I play a massive load of other games (mostly FPS) at the same time, such as Left 4 dead 2 and Team Fortress 2….

    Great podcast so far :D

  • Chris congratulations on the release of your first episode. Everything sounded very natural. Funny that you mention the Mohawk because I made a compilation of Mr T WoW Commercials. I think the marketing is quite brilliant.

    @Kromus
I agree for the most part… but Hard mode Anub is probably the most difficult encounter I’ve ever had to fight.

I liked the Podcast quite a lot. I listened to it while grinding quests out in WoW. Its nice to listen to other games as well, gives me a sense of where the industry is at and where it is going. Nice job guys.

Great show — good chemistry, good topics, nice back-and-forth. Very listenable.

Although I started counting the times you all said “oh the whole”, mostly because of the Austin Powers reference.

Please get this up on iTunes!

    • Lol, that was one of the first things I noticed in editing too. That and my saying “uh” and “um” a bunch of times. Live and learn though :-)

Vagary got us set on iTunes, too. So we’re pretty much ready to roll from here on out.

Glad you liked it though, we had a lot of fun doing it. You should guest with us sometime. *wink wink*
